Campus Building: Principles & Elements

This photo shows contrast and color in the tan and red brick, and balance within the series of windows on both the left and right sides. 
Texture of the different types of brick is also shown here. The windows on both sides of the red brick places emphasis on the middle part and the name of the building. 

In this photo you see the 4 smaller windows are proportioned to the 2 larger windows below them. Also, you see the rectangular shape of the windows, and the vertical lines throughout the structure. The series of windows is a pattern and also shows rhythm. There are lots of windows allowing natural light to shine into the building. The series of  vertical rectangular windows are on both sides of the building, giving it harmony and unity.
