Campus Building (light + color)

The campus building I was assigned is the College of Law. This building is rather plain in color for the most part, only consisting of red brick and tan concrete. However, it consists of many windows on each side.  The photos below shows contrast and color in the tan and red brick, and balance within the series of windows on both the left and right sides. Texture of the different types of brick is also shown here. The placement of the 3 colors used gives the building harmony and balance. The windows on both sides of the red brick places emphasis on the middle part and the name of the building. The windows also play a role in the contrast of color, because they look dark from the outside. They also allow natural light to shine in during the day, helping the inside consist of a light, open, and calm feeling, rather than a closed off one.
